Jim and his wife Lois, have owned and operated Wyant Photography Inc. since 1982. 

Their “Country Harmony Studio”, located in Zionsville, Indiana is a perfect ten acre ‘portrait park’ designed to accommodate families, high school seniors and children of all ages, with a wide variety of background option.  Including a creek, pre civil war barn, several flower gardens, a pond with a waterfall and a ’54 Chevy truck.  

The Wyant gallery, located int the Carmel Arts District, displays Wyant’s fine art images captured throughout the United States and many additional countries as well.  Wyant is known throughout the industry as a leading portrait artist with a style that captures the true character of individuals on a platform of emotional excellence.

Recently Jim participated in the Professional Photographers of Indiana (PPI) convention which brought him the state’s top honors as he captures the first spot with a ‘gold’ in the three categories of; portrait, wedding and illustrative.  His image scores totaled the highest for the competition placing him in the first position overall for not only the total scores, but the highest individual print score as well.

Jim also took:  Best outdoor portrait, best black and white image and two separate judges choice awards to round out a very successful showing at Indiana’s premier photographic competition.
